“What a force to be reckoned with… his soulful singing and slick finger prowess being unbeatable.” – Playrecord.net

Singer-songwriter Paul Curtis has a musical background as diverse as it is deep. Beginning as a tenor horn player in brass bands at age 10, he quickly discovered a passion for rock music, citing major influences like Queen, The Kinks, and The Who. After teaching himself guitar at 16, he spent the nineties playing in a series of rock bands, honing his songwriting craft.

The pivotal moment came in 2000, inspired by the Storyteller tour by Ray Davies. Frustrated by the search for a new band, Paul decided to forge his own path as an acoustic soloist, a move that launched his extensive career as a solo live performer. Paul has since self-produced three albums, three E.P.s, and eight singles, gaining airplay and guest spots on local radio.

In 2008, Paul began his grand opus, the rock opera Bewilderment, an ambitious project that proved so creatively demanding it temporarily stalled his songwriting. However, his creative drive returned in 2016, leading to a new batch of songs and collaborative projects. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Paul embraced livestreaming, performing 12 themed online gigs and even treating his neighbours to three gigs from his garage roof.

After digitally re-releasing his back catalogue in 2023, 2024 and 2025 mark the start of Paul’s high-energy new era. Following the release of three dynamic singles from Bewilderment, Paul is gearing up for his latest single, the chaotic party anthem “GIRLS”, set for release on November 21st, 2025. This single sets the tone for an exciting year of new music ahead.
