A number of years back, I wrote and recorded a song for a girl that I would eventually go on to marry. It originally appeared on my third demo album, “Mercurial Moods”, but very few copies of this demo album were made. In fact the only time a significant number of people will have heard it was at my wedding reception – I had the DJ slip it in after the first dance! Romantic eh?!
Well, last night I was digging around in my hard drive and found it, listened to it, and thought, why on Earth haven’t I ever released this? Read more

By now it’s 1973 / 2003. Pete has become so engrossed in his ever more complicated life that he finds himself brought sharply back down to Earth when the shopkeeper reminds him that the 10 years he had to live this double existence is very nearly up. When time is up, Pete will remain in one or other of the two timelines forever. He hasn’t given it a moment’s thought before now. It’s decision time. It’s now 1970 – in the time line of rock legends, The Bewildered that is. Pete Chronos, of course has a parallel timeline in which it is a new millennium. But whilst the year 2000 brings great optimism and excitement, the end of the ’60s brings great disappointment and disillusionment. The hope and aspirations of the “peace and love” generation with the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, seem to have faded away as the world contends with the reality of great socio-economic problems and military conflict. These trends are mirrored within The Bewildered. The four members have grown and along the way, they have lost their cohesion and common goals. They have their own differing agendas now and this leads to fall outs and infighting. The rot well and truly set in after Pete’s overdose and finally, inevitably, the band splits. The end of an era.
So now The Bewildered are the biggest band in the land and they’re ruling the charts. Our hero, Pete Chronos, has up to now been totally focussed on getting to the top. But now that they’ve made it, he starts to wonder about exactly why it is he is there in the mid-’60s. What exactly should he be doing or trying to achieve? Why him? Was this simply chance, or destiny? At the same time, however Pete and the rest of the band are not exactly short of money, nor attention from girls, and boy, do they make the most of it!
