“Bewilderment” Part 2: A Parallel Existence

Pete opens his eyes to find that he is still seated and still holding the same guitar.Â The shopkeeper is still there, but looks somehow different.Â The shop, however is totally different.Â In fact it’s another shop altogether.Â It looks like some sort of retro-styled guitar shop.Â One or two customers are looking around the shop and they seem to be dressed in retro ’60s fashions that are right in keeping with the shop.Â Then, Pete looks through the shop window and realises that he’s in a street that he doesn’t recognise.Â An old vintage car goes past the window.Â Then another.Â And another.Â Something very weird indeed is going on! “Bewilderment” Part 1: The Story Begins

Our story starts in the ethereal plane!

Just in case you didn’t know – this is the place in which new souls appear, briefly waiting for the right unborn child to travel to and become a part of.

But… when the soul that will become our hero is formed, something unseen prevents it from finding its unborn child.Â And so there it remains in limbo for many years, until eventually it finds its match and enters the child.

The baby is born a boy, somewhere in England, in 1974.Â His name is Pete Chronos. Read more

What On Earth Is All This Rock Opera Business All About?

Anyone that has followed Paul for any length of time will at some point have heard mention of a certain “rock opera”, which goes by the name of Bewilderment.Â Those of you that have been to any of Paul’s live performances over the past two or three years will even have heard him play some of the songs.Â Well, Paul felt it was about time everyone was filled in on exactly what this project is all about and where it’s at right now.Â And after this, the story itself is going to be told in a bit by bit, serialised sort of a way, so keep checking back to follow the story.
